NENQAYNI’s long-term vision is the acquisition of land within Telhiqox (Tatlayoko) Valley and Mexicoin order to construct sister NENQAYNI Cultural Centers
NENQAYNI CULTURAL CENTER
Why?
We believe the creation and stewarding of an international indigenous cultural centre (NENQAYNI Cultural Center) can encompass, respectively, the teachings, curriculums, and ceremonies that most spatially-identified societies practice in one singular location. This location will be not only act as a cultural centre, but also a school where formal, nature-based, culturally respectable, and mindfulness'-centered curriculum can be attended by those who are interested.
Where?
NENQAYNI will acquire land within the traditional Tsilhqot’in territory of Tatlayoko Valley for the Northern centre, as well as a location in Central America for the Southern project.
When?
Our first goals are to implement a nature-based, culturally respectful, and mindfulness-centred curriculum that can be implemented within interested parties in Northern indigenous communities as well as southern-residing communities. During this time, we will be fundraising for the funds to acquire property, and begin vicarious construction and workshops to complete the first structures.
